Grill, Gratitude, and Good News: MNTLC’s Tenant & Volunteer BBQ Recap –

This past Monday, May 26th, after a weekend of hard work, we fired up the grills, gathered our amazing crew, and celebrated you—our incredible tenants and volunteers—at the Work Day BBQ held at the Creekside Community North.

About 30 of us came together for an afternoon of laughter, connection, and of course, delicious food! We loaded our plates with burgers, brats, cheesy potatoes, tots, chips, and topped it all off with cake (because what’s a celebration without cake?).

One of the highlights of the day came with a special toast—congrats to Nick and Alysa on their exciting news: a new baby is on the way! ? It was a beautiful moment of joy shared among friends who feel more like family.

We also took a moment to reflect on the past six months of service, growth, and teamwork. Whether you’ve helped at a site, offered a ride, lifted a hammer, or simply lifted spirits, we see you and we’re beyond grateful.

And the momentum keeps going! The very next day, we broke ground on the new Creekside South 12 Plex and the Creekside Center. There’s a lot to look forward to, and none of it would be possible without the time, heart, and dedication you bring.
