Summer Picnic at Creekside North Brings Laughter, Good Food, and Community Connection
On July 1st, the Lakes Area Christian Fellowship hosted a joyful Summer Picnic at Creekside North from 5–7pm. Around 40 people came together—residents, volunteers, guests, and LACF members—to share food, laughter, and a strong sense of community. The event featured friendly games of pickleball and cornhole, plenty of conversation, and a beautiful (albeit – hot!) summer evening to enjoy it all. For some it was their first trek on our trail (in progress) to the river to enjoy the beauty of the Mississippi.
It was a casual, heartwarming gathering that reminded us how powerful simple acts of fellowship can be. A warm thank-you to everyone who attended, brought food, or helped make the event such a success.
