The first part of this course is designed to offer an opportunity to gain a variety of life skills. This information can empower participants to experience a healthier life and live up to their potential. 

The employment sections of this course offer inspiration and practical help. Learning from the stories of others and applying the information presented may open doors to wider opportunities. The value of work and earning a dignified income is emphasized, which is the best path out of poverty and onto a brighter future with increased possibilities.

The contents of this course are separated into Modules. Each Module is divided into sections. A video presentation of the material correlates with each section in the workbook. 

Discussion questions and activities are included in the workbook to enhance learning and increase engagement. Resources support content and provide additional information. The workbook is written at a 4th grade reading level to accommodate a broader range of readers. 

Presenters and/or material providers for each Module are included at the end of each section.
